Dr Narine Efe

Dr Narine Efe grew up in Melbourne and then rural Victoria. She trained in medicine at the University of Melbourne and the Royal Melbourne Hospital, completing her surgical training there in 1992.

For many years, she combined public & private work at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and in East Melbourne at Epworth Freemasons & St Vincent’s Private hospitals.

Her practice in now wholly within the private system, but uninsured patients are very welcome to attend the rooms.

Beyond clinical practice, Narine has been involved in clinical education at all levels and various hospital committees.

Outside of medicine, Narine is very proud of her two young adult children. There are a number of indulged felines at home, where reading and gardening are popular.

Kathryn is our full-time medical secretary, running the office and organising surgical bookings. She is your “go-to” person for information and assistance.
